Ahead of the inauguration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday arrived in the temple town to inaugurate a slew of developmental projects and lay the foundation stone of many others worth over Rs 15,000 crore. PM Modi flagged off two Amrit Bharat and six vande Bharat trains from the Ayodhya Dham Junction. In efforts to improve Ayodhya’s air connectivity, the Prime Minister launched the town’s first airport, Maharishi Valmiki International Airport.
