Indian Air Force Pilot Wing Commander Abhinandan had to recently eject from his MiG 21 Bison near the Line of control (LoC), while having a dog fight with a Pakistani F-16. So how does a pilot eject from a plane in an emergency? A plane flying at the speed of sound experiences great forces. A pilot also undergoes through a lot of force. So how does a pilot eject in these difficult conditions? This is due to the ejection seat system. It’s all about great engineering that has made this possible. Ejection seats have saved thousands of pilots till now.
