Over the course of three chapters, we see Abacuque's supplications to God. Abackuk does not understand why Judah, the place where he lived, was being destroyed by his enemies, the Babylonians, and begs the Lord for answers: 'How long, Lord, will I cry, and You will not listen to me? I will shout to you: violence! And wilt thou not save?' (Habakkuk 1:2). Faced with Abacuk's indignation and his request for help, the Lord hears him and reminds him that His plans have not yet come to an end — patience and faith are necessary.

Furthermore, God shows that He would turn the Babylonians against the people of Judah once again. Abacuque then asked the Lord again, as he did not understand how such a violent nation could be so successful and not be punished. God reminds him that the success of such nations was temporary; sinful nations would be punished and the righteous would have His mercy.

Therefore, in this book, we see Habakkuk's supplications and dialogue with the Lord. Furthermore, we learned an important lesson: we often do not understand God's plans for us, but He knows what is best for everyone, and we must always trust Him.
