The film tells about the pilgrimage of a group of pilgrims to Tibet to the sacred Mount Kailash, which took place in early May 2019. The journey began on April 26 and ended on May 12.
During it, we visited Guangzhou, Samye village, the legendary Hepo Ri mountain, in which Padmasabhava imprisoned demons, Samye monastery, the capital of Tibet - Lhasa, Potala palace, Jokhang temple, Norbulingku residence. From Lhasa we drove to the main place for meditation in Tibet - Drak Yerpa cave monastery. Also in Lhasa, we watched a grand show about the journey to Tibet and the marriage of the Chinese princess Wenchen.
Then we left Lhasa and headed towards Mount Kailash. The first point on this path was the village of Gyantse, where we visited the famous Pelkor Chode monastery. Then - Shigatse and Tashilunpo Monastery - the residence of the Panchen Lama. Further - the unremarkable village of Tingri, Everest base camp and Rongbuk monastery. Further - Lake Manosarovar, Darchen village, from where the crust around Kailash begins. Three days of bark. And then everything is in reverse order.
