One of the big rules of Van Life on the PanAm is don't drive after dark. But Brazil is a huge country and we had a lot of territory to cover. To be safe we broke the drive up into two days and had an amazing overnight stay at an ecolodge in Rondonia, Brazil. We were all rested, including GMoney and Vanna. But the thing is we still had a lot of driving to do and you guys have seen the roads. Hazards include random potholes, giant speed bumps, animals both domestic and wild that frequently wander into the roads, and not to mention there is little or no lighting. Despite our best efforts, we got caught in the dark as tragedy unfolds.
