Are you looking for a great MIDI controller to use with Korg Gadget, or really any other DAW that you enjoy using on the go, or in a small space? If you said yes - you should check out this video review of the Korg Nano-Key Studio. First I will tell you about it's capabilities, then I will create some music with it.
As I mention in the video - this IS NOT sponsored, and here are the areas I really liked, and did not like about this controller.
Liked:
* The size and most of the feel of the controller.
* Like the feel of the keys - the almost unapologetic feel of them not trying to
be a "key-bed"
* Like the bluetooth - wireless is nice.
* Integration with Gadget is great as expected, works well with other DAWS
Disliked:
* The USB port feels like it will break - the cord doesn't even sit in it properly
(only inserts about 60% of the way).
* Should use rechargeable and user replaceable batteries (you can add them,
but I it's odd that they are not part of this device already, and even if you do
add them - you still have to charge them externally).
* I feel like this device is a bit over priced - just an opinion. I am still keeping
it but - I think if KORG chopped the price by $40 they'd see a good increase
in sales.
Let me know what you think if you have one, or if you have any questions! Have a wicked awesome day!
