I had to change the nib on an antique Montblanc 144 from the late 50s. Unfortunately, the old nib was completely worn down, so there was no iridium dot left.

I unscrewed the nib with a special tool and then drove it out with the help of a knock-out block.

The new nib is a beautiful EF gold nib from the 1950s.
