A successful rescue patrol, but the OCN team is sadly no longer surprised to find five entangled baby seals in just a short time among a small group of seals. They get the job done, and move on to the next group of seals, with just as many entangled animals. It is a harsh reminder of how much trash we let float in our oceans. While these seals were lucky to be saved, countless other marine animals aren’t. They suffer and die from plastic pollution, a man-made problem, with no one to help them. It’s a tragedy happening right before our eyes.
