INSTRUCTIONS:
- Cut Deco Mesh to 30" length pieces. You will cut and use both rolls. I used 24 pieces for my 14" wreath.
- Cut ribbon to 14" length pieces. I used 21 (7 of each of 3 colors) 14" pieces of ribbon for my 14" wreath.
- Attach a piece of chenille or pipe cleaner to the second row of wire. My wire wreath has for rounds or rows of wire and six sections that are separated by a vertical piece of wire. You will use 4 pieces of chenille for each section, or 24 pieces total. The outermost wire is row 1, the next row is row 2, the next is row 3, and the innermost wire is row 4. Attach the chenille alternating between rows 2 and 3. (So, row 2, row 3, row 2, row 3....)
- Take one of the 30" pieces of mesh Color A and roll one of the short ends in on itself a couple of times. Then use your fingers to gather the mesh towards your thumb. When you get close to the other end, roll it in a time or two and continue to gather.
- Hold the gathered mesh in your hand and lay on top of the piece of chenille wire. Wrap the wire securely around the mesh and twist a couple of times.
- Attach another piece of chenille to the wreath on row 3, right beside the mesh you just attached.
- Take a piece of Color B of the mesh and roll it up like you did the first piece. Attach to the wreath just like the first piece.
- Continue creating mesh strips and attaching to the wreath until you have filled the wreath.
- Take 3 pieces of 14" ribbon (one of each color) and lay them in criss-cross fashion on top of one another. Gather in the middle and secure with a small zip tie. If you haven't already clipped the corners of the ribbon, do so now. Trim the tail from the zip tie.
- Attach the ribbon to the wreath by placing it on top of a section of mesh and secure to the wreath with the existing chenille wire.
- Continue adding sections of ribbon around the wreath as desired.
- You can add ornaments, signs, a big bow, or leave your wreath as is.
- Twist the chenille wires and push them through the wreath towards the back. Secure the ends to the back and trim.
- Fluff and arrange the mesh and ribbon.
