There is a trail that crosses right through LaSalle borough of Montreal along the aqueduct. This is a great route to get to the southwest edge of the South-West of downtown. This part starts at the river at Parc Marie-Claire-Kirkland-Casgrain and ends at the Crawford Bridge. From there you can continue through Verdun towards downtown. Or, go down Crawford St. to the bicycle path along the river. Or, turn left and travel into Parc Angrignon.
