A few minutes ago in Brussels Belgium! An unprecedented storm caused havoc in the capital

The Weather Service issued an orange warning for thunderstorms and flooding in several provinces in Belgium. The Brussels region was affected and has just experienced its first heavy rain.

Wind gusts of 102 km/h were even observed in Uccle and several other places in the capital. Flooding disrupted traffic between Huizingen and Beersel, the junction near Linkebeek and Hal, and between Holleken and Nivelles.
