Here's the worst case scenario to avoid: You apply a coat of epoxy which you let cure before sanding and gluing on supports or bulkheads. And the epoxy joints break apart later because a thin layer of residue prevented a solid bond. All it takes is a little scrubbing with warm water before sanding to prevent this and achieve strong bonds.

Make sure to always read and follow all safety instructions for any equipment, tools, or materials that you use. It doesn't matter if they are electric or hand powered. And wear proper safety and protective gear, especially for your eyes, ears, and hands. Maintain a clean and orderly work environment and never get in a hurry or do any work when you are not feeling well. Be careful of heavy lifting or awkward situations. Finally, use common sense. These are not all the guidelines you should follow. They are just common advice that will help prevent injury. If you are unsure or uncomfortable, stop and ask for help.
