As part of event to commemorates the 2024 Nigerian Army Day Celebration, the chief of Army staff has engaged secondary school students in public speaking in Damaturu, the Yobe state capital.

Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja who was represented by Sector 2 commander of operation Hadin Kai, Brigadier General Marcel Ejike, says the significance of celebrating the day is to build military-civil relations and enlighten students that the army is not just known for wars only but uses kinetic approaches to solve conflicts.

He added that the event is also an avenue to unveil to the students some opportunities and basic requirements needed to be part and parcel of the Nigerian army.
