Song from the Cohen Brothers film "Inside Llewyn Davis". In the film Llewyn (played by Oscar Isaac) plays this song live on two occasions. Interestingly, it is now known that the film is loosely based on the life of real folk singer Dave Van Ronk (who originally recorded this piece). Dave was not famous by any means but in his later life was regarded as a legend of folk music in New York City. Since it's release, "Inside Llewyn Davis" has achieved a 94% Certified Fresh rating from Rotten Tomatoes, with an average review score of 8.6/10.

I been all around Cape Girardeau...parts of Arkansas

VERSE 3:
Went up on the mountain...there I made my stand
went up on the mountain...there I made my stand
rifle on my shoulder...and a dagger in my hand
poor boy...I been all around this world.

(repeat verse 1)

VERSE 4:
Put the noose around my neck...hung me up so high
