Join "KV" and "Classy” in their South Lake - North Lake Loop trek via Bishop, Muir and Piute Passes.

Finally! After three years and two tries (2019 knee injury, 2020 fires) I completed my TOP, #1 bucket list hike: "South Lake to North Lake loop"! Even better my daughter did it with me. Go Classy! She was a Pro.

We began at South Lake over Bishop Pass into Dusy Basin. Then, down Le Conte Canyon to meet the JMT/PCT for 25 miles along Evolution Basin/Valley over Muir Pass, and then over Piute Pass to North Lake. 56+ miles total and over 11K'+ climbing mostly above 10K’ over five nights/six days. We had a LOT of mosquitoes help us finish strong on days 5 and 6 lol (not!). This is BY FAR the most beautiful hike I’ve ever done (I know I always say that... and it’s always true).
