On an early Friday morning in June 2020, I hit the east end of our neighborhood lake, next to the golf course. A great spot for bigger bass is next to and under the golf cart bridge used by the golfers, but this spot is directly in play for one of the golf holes; tee shots go right over this spot. But if you get there early enough, before the golfers make their way through the course to get to this hole, the fishing can be great.
The lure selection for this morning was a Z-Man Finesse TRD, in the PB&J color, rigged as a Ned Rig on a 1/16 ounce mushroom jig head. Because the Elaztech material is so stretchable and durable, I never lost the lure and was able to re-use it to catch 19 fish that morning. All but one (a bluegill) were largemouth bass.
Later, as the morning progressed, I did switch to a different rod/reel with another Z-Man Elaztech lure - a Turbo Crawz in color Green Pumpkin - which I used to catch the 20th fish of the day.
