The rarest cosmetic item in the game is about to get a whole lot more expensive. The White Hat Topper is a special item given to those that find bugs, flaws or glitches in game of Rocket League. It could be trading hacks, match making exploits, or even the ability to spawn multiple versions of yourself in a competitive match. This reward symbolizes the ethical hacker that finds and reports these crazy bugs. Someone who "hacks" Rocket League with the goal to help Psyonix fix exploits before the wrong person finds them. But the White Hat Era is coming to an end. Epic Games has now moved to a monetary rewards system for bugs and the White Hat will no longer be given out. This is the history of how the White Hat first came to Rocket League, who earned it, and what hacks and glitches they found. This is also the story of the last hat and the final reward: a special rare player title for the original White Hats of Rocket League.
