Join Jai and Raj as they discuss an obscure ascetic practice which emerged with Buddhism and Jainism. Ajivikas were ascetics who were Ancient Indian Fatalists, the word Ajivika is associated with someone who draws livelihood and was used for these ascetics, in a derogatory manner, which implied that they were ascetics not for spiritual purposes but for making a livelihood.

They also discuss how extensive ritualism caused the fall of Hinduism in ancient India and how by amalgamating the practices of shramanic philosophies, Hinduism was revived.
