Paneer Butter Masala is one of India’s most popular paneer gravy recipes!
This Paneer Butter Masala recipe is a rich and creamy dish of paneer (Indian cottage cheese) in a tomato, butter and cashew sauce that is known here as “makhani gravy.” The acidity of the tomatoes and the sweetness of the cream make for a velvety, nearly addictive sauce. 

Also known as “Butter Paneer,” 

Ingredients:
¼ cup oil
2 tbsp butter
1 tsp cumin seeds
3 cloves
2 green cardamom
2 bay leaves
1 inch cinnamon stick
½ cup onion chopped
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp salt
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp kashmiri mirch
1 tsp coriander powder
¼ tsp turmeric powder
2 tomato paste
¼ cup curd
10-12 cashews paste
2 tbsp fresh cream
½ tsp garam masala
1 tsp kasuri methi
¼ tsp sugar ( optional)
200 g paneer+ pinch of salt, chili and turmeric powder + oil and butter
1 tsp Jillian ginger
1 tsp chopped green chilli
coriander leaves
