Resin Segmented vessel with intersecting arches.

The following method can be applied to segmented bowls, vases, urns, and other wood turning vessels. I had the idea to mix resin with wood turning via combining two areas that I am familiar with and then took it a step further when I became interested in the beauty of segmented bowls. What you see here was not taught to me, rather the result of trial and error of various methods to accomplish the final piece.

Full disclosure: I am not a professional or expert at epoxy or woodturning. I am a hobbyist and even the most experienced craftsmen will tell you that you never stop learning. Woodturning is a skill that should be learned first before attempting a project such as this. It is important to seek credible advice from experienced wood turners as turning on a lathe can be dangerous.
