Every traveler planning to use private foreign registered vehicle in Thailand must apply for the temporary permit through Thai travel agency. The travel agency will have to submit the application to Department of Land Transportvia FVP system [URL: https://fvp.dlt.go.th/] no less than 5 working days prior to the date of entry.
