After four years of battling Cancer, my best friend CJ Robinson passed away on January 9th 2018.

If you can, please help donate what you can for the family’s Medical Funds. I would greatly appreciate it.

You may be gone, but the memories and the life lessons you shared with me and all those around you will live on and impact our lives forever.

The moment I met you about 20 years ago, you were just a kid playing on the mountain of rocks on the plot of land where my new childhood house would soon be built. You introduced yourself as the kid next door and you asked me to join you on top of the mountain. You were so outgoing and so easy to be friends with. Which is probably the reason why we have so many best friends. From forming a "Tri-pod" of best friends between you, myself, and Bryan. To then making it a "Quad" by adding RJ. To finally quitting that dumb naming pattern since the number of best friends we acquired got too big.

You introduced me to this cool show about fighting space aliens with big hair called Dragon Ball Z. In Pokemon, you helped me get through Rock Tunnel in complete pitch black darkness because I didn't know where to get HM05 - Flash. You showed me what having true trust in a friendship means. Like when in High School you wouldn't tell me the girl I was interested in also had a crush on me, because she told you not to tell me and she trusted you with that secret. By watching you and Jarrell nerd out about comics together, you encouraged me to always be myself and to be confident in who I am. Even if it is being a nerd. You loved to debate. But what you loved more was when the debate led to you and the other person seeing and understanding each others side. That's how you taught me to always keep an open mind and to always try and see both sides of a story. You were always so outgoing and so optimistic. You never let anything bring you down. I was so jealous of the way you were. But that jealousy turned into admiration as you taught me that everyone has it in them to be as wonderful, caring, selfless, and fun loving a human being as you were. Your legacy will live on in all the people who were lucky enough to call you best friend.
