Golden State Warriors star forward Draymond Green believes NBA owners should vote on whether Phoenix Suns owner Robert Sarver should remain in his position.
Green made the comments on "The Draymond Green Show" podcast on Tuesday. Three-quarters of the league's owners must vote in support of removing an owner for the process to occur. "I'm asking that there be a vote. If that's the only way, then let's see what those numbers are. Let's see what they are," he said.

The NBA suspended the Suns and Mercury owner for one year, plus fined him $10 million, last week after an investigation found that he had engaged in what the league called “workplace misconduct and organizational deficiencies." The report said Sarver “repeated or purported to repeat the N-word on at least five occasions spanning his tenure with the Suns," though added that the investigation “makes no finding that Sarver used this racially insensitive language with the intent to demean or denigrate." The study also concluded that Sarver used demeaning language toward female employees, including telling a pregnant employee that she would not be able to do her job after becoming a mother; made off-colour comments and jokes about sex and anatomy; and yelled and cursed at employees in ways that would be considered bullying “under workplace standards.” NBA commissioner Adam Silver banned Sterling for life in 2014 and the team was eventually sold after the former Clippers owner after racist comments emerged on audio recordings. "When he returns next year, because it's only a year, does everything just go back to normal?" Green said. "Are those guys supposed to unsee everything that they just saw and heard? Are those guys supposed to feel comfortable with continuing to work with this guy?" Find out more details in this video.
