There are so many different colors of jade, green, lavender, white, icy, black, yellow, brow, red. AND every shade of those colors too!

Treated jade is usually low quality jade that has been bleached with acid and with the colors dyed into the jade. Can be harmful to your body and should be very very inexpensive. Yet many sellers don't know and usually treated jade is sold for wayyy more than it's worth.

Four types of jade:

Type A: Natural, untreated, undergoes a traditional process, no "artificial treatments", "true" color.

Type B: Chemically bleached to remove impurities, injected with polymer with the use of a centrifuge to enhance translucency, covered with a hard and clear plastic-like coating, subject to instability and discoloration over time because polymer gets broken down by heat or household detergent, still 100% read jade with 100% natural color.

Type C: Chemically bleached, dyed to enhance color, subject to
discoloration over time due to reaction with strong light, body heat, or household detergent.

Type D: Simulated, not jade(Quartz, glass) made look like jade.
