Yesterday Alabama ended Georgia's 29-game winning streak as they beat Georgia 27-24 to win the 2023 SEC Championship Game. Georgia's offense slowed down after that opening drive touchdown, but picked back up late in the third quarter. The defense for Georgia could not stop a nosebleed. Georgia is 12-1 and the CFP committee put Georgia at 6th in the country which means they will not be going the playoffs therefore preventing a third national championship in a row.
