Roger, Clint and Nate fished Lake Powell in early May 2019. We focused on areas from Good Hope Bay and south several miles due to the murky water caused by runoff. Fishing was good for striper, smallmouth, largemouth, bluegill, crappie, catfish and a few walleye. Strangely enough, much of our best success was throwing small crappie jigs up shallow. We caught everything on them. We also caught stripers, walleye and crappie on large jigging spoons tipped with striper meat. Red crankbaits produced smallmouth, largemouth and stripers. A great trip!
