Blaze Foley with Big Cheeseburgers and Good French Fries, recorded live at the Austin Outhouse in 1989.

The legendary folk hero Blaze Foley unfortunately met his untimely passing just mere weeks after this recording was first captured, which was thankfully preserved and then later enhanced in 2004 with the help from longtime collaborator Gurf Morlix.

This rendition of Big Cheeseburgers and Good French Fries is found on the Oval Room album, which includes contributions from:

Blaze Foley: Vocals, guitar.
Ed Bradfield: Harmonica.
Tony DiRoadie: Harmonica.
Lost John Casner: Piano.
Champ Hood: Fiddle.
Pat Mears: Vocals.
Gurf Morlix: Guitars, bass, vocals.
John Hill/Leland Waddell: Drums.
Texana Dames: Vocals.
Produced by Gurf Morix and John Casner.

Blaze's incredible catalog of recordings have been carefully preserved by the good people at Lost Art Records, who we strongly suggest you support directly if you enjoy Blaze's music:
