Texas Terroir, American Spirit: The Story Of Ironroot Republic is the latest documentary film from the teams behind Whisky Magazine and American Whiskey Magazine.

Texas whiskey is still under two decades old, but Ironroot Republic is already a luminary of the Lone Star State. Founded a decade ago by brothers Jonathan and Robert Likarish, this tiny but mighty distillery has garnered international attention from the whisk(e)y community and numerous accolades for its corn whiskey and bourbon.

Ironroot’s Hubris corn whiskey has been named World’s Best Corn by the World Whiskies Awards no less than six times (in 2017, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024) and 2020 saw Harbinger awarded the title of World’s Best Bourbon. Now celebrating its 10th anniversary, the Likarish family has partnered with Whisky Magazine to create a new documentary film telling the incredible story of their distillery's journey from the grain of an idea to global acclaim.
