John 4:7 There came a Samaritan woman to draw water. Jesus said to him, "Give me some water." The Samaritan woman asked him, "How can you, being a Jew, ask me, a Samaritan woman, for water to drink?" (For Jews do not get along with Samaritans.) Jesus replied, "If you only knew the gift of God and whoever is asking you for water, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water".

11 The woman said, "You have nothing with which to draw water, and the well is deep. Where can you get this living water?" Jesus replied, "Whoever drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water that I der will never be thirsty again. On the contrary, the water that I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life."

15 The woman said to him, "Sir, give me this water, so that I will no longer be thirsty or have to come back here to draw water." He told her, "Go, call your husband and come back." "I don't have a husband," she replied. Jesus said to her, "You have spoken correctly, saying that you have no husband. The fact is that you have already had five; and the man you are now living with is not your husband. What you have just said is true." The woman said, "Sir, I see that you are a prophet.
