After watching a lot of abandoned places/urbex type content one thing that's stood out is how America's more dangerous cities have particular areas commonly used as body dumping sites. This got me wondering what the closest place Portland has, historically, to qualifying as a primary body dumping site. After mulling it over and doing some research I landed on the general vicinity around the Columbia Slough, which runs east and west through North and Northeast Portland. Dating back at least to the first decade of the 1900s there have been several murder victims found in this area, and I'm sure there are many that I have yet to find.
In this video I head out to the vicinity of the slough to tell several stories about murders wherein the victims ended up in that area. It got a little rough out there but I made it through.
