I’m so excited to share my Fall Sewing Plans with you today! Fall is just around the corner, and I've got a lot of fantastic fabrics and patterns lined up for the season. I’m starting this season with a physical and digital mood board to help guide my inspiration. I've been loving all these rich, layered textures and unique silhouettes for Autumn.

I'll also be adding a bold, rich red as an accent—maybe through accessories. I want this palette to be versatile yet vibrant, capturing that beautiful transition from summer to fall.

And since I live here in sunny Florida, my fall sewing is all about finding that perfect balance between seasonal style and weather-appropriate looks. Even though it’s technically fall, our weather stays hot well into the winter months, so I’m drawing most of my inspiration from the colors of fall rather than heavy fabrics. I’ll be focusing on lightweight layers that work for the heat outdoors but also provide comfort in air-conditioned spaces.
