In this video I showcase three auctions I purchased for around $210 total on various Japanese auction sites. One auction was a complete in box Japanese Emerald, One auction was a set of two Sapphires, two Fire Reds, a Leaf Green, and two Emeralds, and the last auction was a set of five Sapphires, five Rubies, two Fire Reds, two Leaf Greens, and two Emeralds.


In the auction with the set of 7 games, I did NOT expect that three boxes would be included, and that two of the boxes (Fire Red and Leaf Green) would be complete in box.


After looking through all 24 of these files, I found nothing noteworthy, save for two Emerald files that had used the duping glitch extensively, along with some other cheats to get stuff like level 5 legendaries. One of these Emerald files had several shinies on it, including a shiny Togepi, but they were certainly hacked. One of the Leaf Greens had what appeared to be a legitimate shiny Exeggutor, and a Fire Red had a seemingly legit shiny Geodude.


I mention that I planned to flip these games, though I have since decided against this, due to the fact that I can now hunt any starter in any games without having to think about resetting my main files. So I now have 57 total authentic 3rd gen game cartridges. I currently have:

10 Leaf Green Versions
13 Emerald Versions
