This video I hope helps others with addictions or strays someone away from ever trying that first drug, popping that first pill. It is not worth it and no matter what you think, drugs will consume you, destroy your family's and eventually kill you one day. If you are battling addiction find that strength that you have inside you that the drugs have tried to take away from you. Have faith in your God and continue to fight no matter what. I have a lot of regrets as a Mother for I feel there was more I should have, could have done. I am lucky enough to have the family I do as I do not know what I would do without my parents...they have not only helped me through some tough times but my children as well. The day my son's father died my parents also lost their child as my son's father had lived with us since I was 13 and he was, just as myself and brother their son as well. A very big part of us all died the day we lost him. For 11 years I have lived with the what ifs and I should have and could have. I think all of us blamed ourselves for his death. Never would have thought that this would now be my son...I talked to him about the drugs, about his Dad, I thought I was doing what I was supposed to. But somewhere I failed..even though my son tells me there was nothing I did nothing I could have done differently. He was the one the made the choice...all I do know is addiction is not easy and to see my child suffer through this..well it has been a battle. This is the first time I have ever posted on youtube and I am just hoping that this video even if it just changes ONE persons mind on ever trying a drug, or give hope to someone who is on drugs..well then it served its purpose.
