After almost 3 weeks without detecting, I finally escaped the work hell and decided to go tecting an old spot where I found a nice medieval hammered coins in the past. I wanted to scout this new part of the forest for ages, but I just did not have enough time and did not want to put too much effort into a new area, which I know nothing about. It was a hard terrain walk, but a perfect detecting day indeed. A few promising finds surfaced and I hope to get back there soon!

I consult my finds with an archaeologist and hand over the finds for research and documenting. I had only good experience working with the experts in their fields and recommend cooperating with archaeological institutions to every metal detectorist out there.
