I am able to milk all 5 of my goats only ONCE a day without separating the kids. It's true that some days the amount of milk I get fluctuates but I am getting enough for us, a few others and a bum calf.

This has been a great way to get our fresh, raw milk but also keep our sanity and be able to get more done. Milking goats doesn't have to completely ruin your life or your summer or your fun. It's possible to have all that good milk without the hassle of twice a day milking.

This video will walk you through what an average milking day looks like for me and how I manage milking my goats with the kids still on them. I'll talk about how I wean, when I wean the kids and even give an update on how Delight is adjusting to the. milking stand.
