Hi guys, in this video i will tell you How to get married in New York in just 4 steps.

So you thinking about getting married in New York City.
That’s brilliant, stunning, marvelous idea. Because honestly there is no better place in the world than you can get married.

I’m at the wedding officiant Max and i made this ultimate step by step guide with the hope that it will make your planning wedding process little bit easier.

Step 1. Marriage license

All couples who wants to get married in New York must get a marriage license. The fee is 35$ which can be paid by credit card or money order.

This license is valid for 60 days and can be used anywhere in New York State.

Little tip: sometimes the wait time at the office can be long and if you’d like to speed up the process you can filling out the application for the license online (there is a link https://www1.nyc.gov/cityclerkformson...) and then you have to complete the application in person at the office.

As i promised in video there is all information about offices in New York city:

MANHATTAN:

BRONX:

And make sure to bring your ID which can be: Driver's license, Passport ,Employment picture, ID Immigration record.

And you got your marriage license. Congratulations.

Step 2. I called this step 24 hours.

Its time to tie the knot but you must wait a minimum 24 hours after obtaining your marriage license.
And once the 24 hours have passed feel free to wed anywhere in the state - you can have your ceremony at the City Hall or anywhere in state, also its valid outside of New York City.

Step 3. Wedding at the City Hall

After 24 hours bring your marriage license, ID, and at least one witness to City Clerks office.

The fee for the ceremony is 25$ and can be paid by credit card or money order. Ceremonies are held during regular business hours between 8.30 am to 3.45 pm, Monday through Friday.

Unfortunately, there is no reservation or appointments are accepted.

After ceremony is performed a marriage certificate will be issued to you that day. My congratulations, guys.

Step 4. EVEN BETTER.

Why i called this step EVEN BETTER because you are not bother to any business hours.
With wedding officiant you can get married 24/7, 365 days a year anywhere.

You want get hitched in Central Park, like in Bethesda terrace, no problem.
You want to say YES on the TOP OF TBE ROCK - JUST DO IT.
DUMBO?! - Yass, it’s your day.

Just pick a location and have fun.

All what you need it’s your marriage license and at least one witness and that’s it.

After ceremony wedding minister will have you and your witness signature and return the paperwork to the city clerk office or you can drop it off by yourself and you will receive your marriage certificate in mail within 30 days from wedding date.
But by my experience you will get it on next week.
