We find out if the 117 horsepower and 890cc Yamaha XSR900 is a plausible option for a beginner motorcycle rider. When we think of a beginner motorcycle, a few bikes immediately come to mind: Ninja 400, Yamaha R3, etc. The XSR900 is typically not grouped into the beginner bike category.
