The final public performances of the 2014 San Bernardino Valley College Acting Class Touring Company on May 14, 2014. Scenes were taken from Julius Caesar, Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, King Lear, Merchant of Venice, The Crucible and directed by Ron Berglas. These scenes, taken directly from the high school curriculum, were performed in high school classrooms throughout the county of San Bernardino. The performers went into the classrooms and, with the help of the students, moved the desks and performed in the middle of the classrooms in order to give the students, most of whom had never seen live theater, a chance to see the plays they were studying the way they were meant to be seen. It was an immensely satisfying experience for the performers who ably represented their college, and the high school students.
