Austria’s “Highline179” is considered the world's longest “Tibet-style suspension footbridge” by Guinness World Records.

At 374 feet (114 meters) high it leads from Ehrenbrg castle ruins to an old fortress, Fort Claudia.

A little less than 4 feet wide (1.2m), the suspension footbridge spans 1332.02 feet (406 meters) over highway B179. Hence where it got the name, Highline 179.

It’s hard to notice as you’re walking across or looking at it from a distance, but the suspension footbridge sags over 55 feet. And don’t get me started on the swaying… it was very windy on the day we went, with strong gusts and clouds blowing through the valley, so it made for an extra challenge.
