“It was the middle of the night when my phone rang — ‘We need you at the hospital.’ It is said that life and death situations often become turning points. For me it was just life — watching the mother I was treating plead, ‘I’ve waited a long time to become a mother… please help me,’ I found my purpose. There were so many women who couldn’t become mothers naturally; I wanted to help them. That’s how I decided to get trained as an IVF specialist.

It was the beginning of a whole new chapter. As a gynecologist, I had brought many babies into this world. But as an IVF doctor, I got to hold the hands of nervous parents, watch them jump excitedly seeing that positive pregnancy test, and help 25000+ women become mothers. But most importantly, I got to ensure that motherhood is not a privilege for a select few… but a miracle that it’s supposed to be.”
