Immeasurable continues the collaboration between John Massoni and producer Hunter Lea, and will be part of John’s next solo album, with the plan to release one song at a time this coming year. All these songs were initially written and recorded at John’s home studio, some more complete than others. The tracks then get sent to Hunter to reimagine them. As you can see, or hear, Hunter’s take is quite different from Massoni’s home production. Still, regardless of which mix is your favorite, the vocals and lyrics carry the weight of the song. Immeasurable captures the essence which is the heart of many of John’s best songs, this yearning for connection with another human being, and awe toward the mysteries between love and life.
