So, it’s been two years since I got my PhD and moved to Kenya, and now I’m heading back to the US to take on a postdoc! For those of you who have been following my journey, you’ll know that I wasn’t initially planning to pursue a traditional academic career. But in true Ijeoma spirit, I’m embracing change, shifting gears, and wholeheartedly preparing for this new adventure! There are a few key things that led to my change in mindset and why I’ll be hopping on a flight soon with my family to start a new chapter.
