In 2023, I went over East to Queensland to travel from the bottom (Brisbane), to the top (Cape Tribulation)! We departed Cairns to spend the last few days of our trip (and my birthday) on an isolated island called Green Island! Every evening we attended the fish feeding off the end of the jetty, made the most of our complimentary sunset drinks, went on the glass bottom boat and wined and dined in the restaurant! In addition to this, we went on a boat to the infamous Great Barrier Reef, where we snorkelled the reefs and went on a semi submersible submarine! What a once in a lifetime experience! Unfortunately, after a few days our trip came to an end and it was time to head back to Perth! Queensland will always hold a special place in my heart 💙
