Thaye Yashoda (Gopis complain to Yashoda about the child Krishna)-

One day krishna came to me and started circling me as though he wanted a favour from me. He asked me the route to auntie's house. I told him the way clearly. He hesitated and still didn't leave. Afterwards he asked me the route to riverbank. I told him the way to the best of my ability. Next he cunningly asked me a thing which made me shy. He asked me for a way to kiss and made a big noise for that. See yasOdha, you have been so lenient with him. He is not to be blamed. You have brought up the child so badly.
Krishna asked for butter. I gave it. He asked for some more. Again I gave it to him. He repeatedly asked for more and I continued to give it to him without much resistance. He ate all the butter and then started asking, with a wink in the eyes, for the hand of my daughter in marriage. He started dancing, so nicely, then that I was awestruck. Suddenly he kicked some dust into my eyes and ran away with my daughter.

Illai Illai Amma (Krishna's response) -

I did ask for the way to aunt's house, that is true,
I asked the way to the river bank, that is true,
I asked the way to the court yard*, But she is complaining to you that I asked for a way to kiss her, Mother I do not know what is in her mind?
*Court yard in Tamil is mutram and kiss in mutham
Can anybody talk when their mouth is filled with butter?
If that is a practice , would one get angry,
Should this be told to you who is a mother,
And do you know - inspite of doing penance, they do not have a daughter?
