Idol Showdown was developed for fans by fans and it's managed to bridge an incredible gap between Vtuber culture and the FGC. In this video, I want to compare its approach to games like Granblue Fantasy Versus, Pokken Tournament, Dragon Ball FighterZ and more! There's a lot of care needed to make a fun solid fighting game out of something that has nothing to do with what we traditionally see as a fighting game and I think Idol Showdown nailed it!
