There are many hotels in Srinagar where you can stay but staying at houseboat is a completely different experience which you must have once in your life !
That's why, In this video, I'm gonna tell you my experience and the important details of a Houseboat.

1. You can stay in a houseboat at Dal Lake or at Nagin Lake. What are the differences?

• Price of houseboat is around Rs.5000 - 6000 per night at Dal Lake while it is around Rs.1500 per night at Nagin Lake

• You will get a crowded atmosphere at Dal Lake but at Nagin Lake, you will get a silent and serene atmosphere.

• There are many markets & restaurants at Dal Lake but this is not the case at Nagin Lake.

2. There maximum 4 rooms in a houseboat and minimum 2 rooms.

3. You can visit the vegetable market which opens at 5 AM in the morning.
• Duration to reach here :
- From Dal Lake : 10 to 15 minutes
- From Nagin Lake : 40 to 45 minutes
