In this video we go on a road trip to the Severn Valley Heritage Railway in Shropshire. We also visit the town of Bridgnorth and take a look at the history there. We look at Bridgnorth castle scene of a medieval seige in the English civil war between royalists and Oliver Cromwell. The castle leans to one side due damage in the Civil war. We take a look at the cliffside funicular railway. The steepest in England. We also look at the river Severn. This video also we see classic British Diesel heritage locomotives class 20, class 50, class 52 western and class 42 warship and class 47 locomotives.
