Join me as I spend the first night solo winter camping in my woodland. I use a modified canvas polish lavvu tent and a woodstove as a hot tent for this winter camping trip. It's early December and the leaves have fallen from almost all of the trees in my woodland. The air is cold, but fresh. I setup the tent, cut some firewood with the axe and get the woodstove going. I cook up some good food and enjoy the evening listening to the owls and wildlife of my woodland. Thank you for watching!

RECIPE FOR EVENING ONE POT MEAL IN THIS VIDEO:

1 x Red Pepper
1 x Onion
2 x cloves garlic
1 x tin chopped tomatoes
1 x Spanish Chorizo
Small amount of chicken stock
sprinkling of rock salt and a bit of pepper
HERBS - Dried Thyme, Basil

Lightly fry Onion, garlic and pepper for a few minutes until tender. Add the tin of chopped tomatoes, stir and bring to boil. Slice up Spanish Chorizo into thin pieces (peel off outer layer of sausage if it has it). Stir in to pot. Add herbs, salt, pepper and stock. Stir altogether then let simmer and cook for 30 minutes, lightly stirring every 10 minutes or so. ENJOY!
