Urban Design is a multidisciplinary Masters Programme jointly hosted by Technical University’s Institute of Architecture, Institute of Urban and Regional Planning, Institute of Sociology and the Institute of Landscape Architecture and Environmental Design.
The 2-year Masters Programme promotes an integrated, cross-sectoral approach to finding creative solutions to the fast changing local and global challenges connected to urbanisation. Students develop theory and design skills in the fields of architecture, urban planning and landscape design. The course encourages students to critically reflect on contemporary trends and paradigm shifts in urban development, as well as on the changing social and political contexts, which condition planning and stakeholder constellations.
