Pavetesting Falling Weight Deflectometer to measure the vertical deflection response of a surface to an impulse load, to determine surface material strength or determine surface condition such as bearing capacity, layer thickness, E moduli, or the expected surface life. 23 vertical deflection sensors measure the pulse wave outward from the load axis. Calibrated to the latest international standard AASHTO and specified for use worldwide, the equipment based on load cells and multiple geophones is fast and requires 28 seconds to perform a test.
